1. Where we stand
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means most of the site meets the standard, and we are still working on the parts that do not. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim more than we can show.
2. What we do
- Pages can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
- Meaningful images have text alternatives
- Headings and page regions are marked up so screen readers can move through them
- Form fields carry labels that assistive technology can read
- Text and controls are checked for color contrast
- Animation respects the reduced motion setting on your device
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent without losing content
- New pages are reviewed for accessibility before they are published
3. Known limitations
Some content may not yet be fully accessible. This most often involves the Stripe donation checkout and the looping background video on the Programs page, which has no sound or spoken content, which we do not control, and older documents or images that have not yet been reviewed. When we learn of a barrier we work to fix it or to offer the same information another way.
